Focus on the Family 4 (I think)
I know it’s been a while since I have written about the family, but I wanted to catch up with things again. So much and so little has happened…it’s kinda hard to know how to put it all together.
Forgetting and mental health
Many people say/think/believe that it is easy to just forget the past. No matter whether the past is good or bad, that is what has led to the present day.
Forgiveness and mental health
I suppose that actually guilt and forgiveness are related to each other. Guilt can eat away at mental health because it destroys peace of mind.
Mental Health Awareness week
You can guess from the title what this article is about. I want to talk to you about mental health today. Often people assume that it’s either depression or suicide, but there is a LOT more to mental health than just that.
Perception vs Reality
I was watching a cartoon with Johnathan and one of the characters had a birthday and all the friends decided they were going to throw a party. But this particular individual did NOT want to have a party.
Thoughts of the week 37
If you’ve read my latest post on Johnathan coming home from hospital, you won’t be surprised at the topic I have been considering this week.
Focus on the Family 3
Well, Johnathan and Kevin are back home from the hospital now having had loads of tests done and completed.
Focus on the Family
Well, this is going to be a very different one for our family. Johnathan has been unwell since January with no real improvement being seen even with some of his medication being doubled to help him.
Reading books
When we pick up a book, any book, we have certain expectations about what we are going to be reading.
Accepting Reality
I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently and have reached some conclusions that I would like to share with you on this subject.
Focus on the Family
I don’t know what to call it - or how to put this. I have tried in so many different ways. We’ve been having quite a time of life lately…..Johnathan has now been unwell for nine weeks.
Don’t Give Up
Please don’t just give up
Even when your soul is aching
And you think nobody cares
Always hold onto hope inside.
Thoughts of the week 36
I often watch the Olympics in the summer time on the tv and have thoroughly enjoyed doing so for most of my life.
Fifteen years
Well, it seems so strange to say it, but our dear daughter Natalie Marie was stillborn fifteen years ago.
