On Monday the mental health awareness week begins.  And you have to know that, just as the body has many different conditions and that not everyone will admit to either physical or mental illness for different reasons.

You know I spoke to you a while back about what I THOUGHT was my new found love of etching.

I was just writing about peace and thought that actually I would carry on with it a bit because I wanted to cover some more things about it than can be done in one post.

You know the peaceful moments, when life is calm and everything seems to be going along seamlessly? 

In marriage, we are asked to be a helpmate for the husband as a bride and vice versa.  And that we will be faithful to each other. 

It’s quite interesting where people see support or interfering.  I remember my Nana not wanting anyone to interfere in her life.

Have you ever thought that something you did or thought about doing or something you managed to live through wasn’t worth anything? 

I have been thinking about injustice and how it can make people both feel and react.  Thing is, there can be PERCEIVED injustice or injustice that actually really has happened.

It has been quite a week for me personally, I must admit.  I am pretty sure I have already told you that I was born disabled so you would think that I had learned by 50 years of age to accept it.

I had the carer office person come to assess me.  It took 3 hours and went through EVERYTHING carefully - so carefully that we touched on the past and all the baby losses. 

Well, i went into hospital before Valentine’s Day and returned home before Easter.  It has been really weird trying to get back to ‘normal” life again, but with needing more support than I did before. 

Coming up to Easter, as you know, is a very precious time for Christians.  Established at what is now called “The Last Supper” before Christ’s death and resurrection.

I am sure I have been in quite a few situations where I haven’t got a plan B, plan A was the one set in my mind and the fact that has all fallen to pieces is thrusting me into conjuring up a plan B quickly. 

As I have said in other posts, I have been in hospital a long time.  And am delighted to be home. But the transitional period back to normal life can be quite frustrating.

Do you ever feel like you’ve come to the end of yourself and you just want to give up but you know you can’t?  I guess I have been there FAR too many times.

When you have expectations not only the ones you put on yourself, or the ones you believe others have on you. 

Do you ever have a song in mind, that you just can’t get to STOP?  I have one on my mind for the last few days.  And that’s not anything that happens to you. 

As you probably know if you read what I write regularly, I have been in hospital for nine weeks and wasn’t writing regularly.

How are you all doing?  I’ve been thinking about writing and carrying on with one of the books I have already started.

There are so many differing emotions and thoughts swirling round my mind as I prepare to go home from the hospital.
