Injustice
I have been thinking about injustice and how it can make people both feel and react. Thing is, there can be PERCEIVED injustice or injustice that actually really has happened. Sometimes people act in haste and what they do is seen as being unjust.
Now that I have said that, it reminded me of the story Jesus told of the unjust judge who didn’t want to give a woman what she needed but because she kept on asking him, eventually she got what she needed. In that case, it was the judge who was wrong and the woman right.
There are times when there has been a blanket punishment or something not given to a group for whatever reason and the majority of them may not have been involved. When there is a group and a number of them are making a noise/mess/not listening/whatever it is, it’s hard to distinguish the ones not participating.
I know with people on the spectrum they see life in black and white and grey just doesn’t even exist. They are either right or wrong or extremes of one thing or another in the way they think, talk, and act. And if things are perceived as unjust, it takes time for them to see how others think and function.
But there are times when life happens and something really unjust happens. This is the point where you have to decide how you want to act. There are options open to us all the time and there is no judgement on my side to insist you look at things the way I want to. The choices I make might not be the ones you would. And that’s ok. I don’t know your background or upbringing or reasons for choosing what you do.
Whatever anybody chooses is entirely up to them. Do you want to go away and do something else? Or would you challenge it? The choice has to be individual and the person certain it is something they can live with.

Unjust things happen, but we can make a decision as to how we want to react. Do you know what you would do?
