Have you ever looked at someone and admired what they did and how they did it?  I must admit I have done myself in the past.

I wrote a piece talking about skilled surgeons and the idea that people “could” call them obsessive.

For a long time after I moved up to Scotland, I found it very difficult to read. 

Oh boy!  We’ve all been there haven’t we?  Sometimes it is just impossible to know what that answer is.

In Johnathan’s school they have a list of character strengths they try to help each child understand and learn.  Johnathan will often say things and I realise he is quoting from the character strength that is being looked at that week.

Kevin and I were watching a series about different chefs around the world. 

Have you ever found it hard to make a decision? When you feel so overwhelmed by the sheer weight and intensity of what it could mean to you?

So I was thinking about  encouragement and praise you get as a child and as well of us are doing   Even if we don’t feel like it, because it makes a massive on whatever person is feeling. 

I don’t know about you, but I don’t directly think about light or the kind of light being used but I was thinking about it today because Kevin had gone out for a meal with a good friend.

You might just be wondering about why I have called this The Rolling Hills.  Well, the reason is because I wanted not ONLY to see a poem I’ve written but to help you see the beauty of the rolling hills and it’s the title of the poem.  

Do you ever do silly things like drop something that you were going to use, or pick up something that you dropped it and it needed sorting out?

I was just thinking about the small things that make a huge difference in the life.  And mostly when it’s unexpected, makes all the positive.

Do you know how difficult it can be getting the right person for the right job is?  It can be extremely hard, nearing impossible actually, for some things. 

As I use the cap more and more, I am discovering that I CAN do more things than I thought.  And it has been amazing thinking about how my life has changed.

Well, I am sure you have seen my posts on setting intentions for the year rather than having goals or words and that it worked really well for me last year (really only last year!).

Every year we try and see the New Year concert from Vienna on BBC 2 (If you missed it is available on iplayer).  And it’s something I look forward to all the time.

In the new years postings, so far I have been talking about the intention setting concept that I have (I think) mostly worked out. 

Well this is my first post of the new year and I trust and pray that we always know that somebody is there for us in our time of need, whether it be friend, carer, family member, teacher – it doesn’t really matter.
