Thoughts of the week 34
This is actually something I have been considering a couple of weeks at least, I must admit. Well, probably much longer but things have come up that have really brought it to the forefront of my mind and I am sure you have considered this, too.
What really gets my goat is when you see an advert that promises something and you think it’s exactly what you are looking for, at the price you are willing to pay. I know people say if it’s too good to be true, it isn’t true. But there are people/companies that DO advertise correctly and you get what is promised.
For me, I get frustrated when something is advertised incorrectly, especially online. Why should I have to waste my time, going through loads of websites/apps/whatever to think that YAY I finally have what I am looking for at the price I want only to discover that actually I haven’t?
Obviously there are things you can do to protect yourself - like going with good, honest brands that have been trusted for decades. Or checking that the spellings and wording and grammar is correct where you have discovered it. You can even check where the products are actually made as well.
At the end of the day, unfortunately cheap tat is what it is and to get what you want, research is extremely important and checking that the company actually DO what they say. You have to trust your gut. But be sensible whilst doing so and make sure you get the quality you are looking for.
TREASURE
Research and discovery is important before I buy a product. Research, gut feeling and checking is also vital. At the end of the day, if I am uncertain for any reason, I need to go somewhere else. Thoughts of the week
