Thoughts of the Week

Have you ever known that the world has moved from one month to the next but you don’t register it properly?  And you ignore what the new month is and just carry on with what you are doing?

Well, that was what happened to me this month.  I think I was so busy with Kevin being poorly and suddenly realising exactly what he did in the house and that I needed to get help in so family life could continue.  And then afterwards, I had to recover from everything physically and emotionally.

Last month I also suddenly realised that the website needed updating but I didn’t know what I wanted to say or how I intended it to look.  So I was also focusing on that and days were just flying by without me registering that we were leaving September and moving straight into October.

This month is baby loss awareness month and on 15 October everywhere in the world between 7 and 8 pm people light candles for these children so that there comes a Wave of Light across the world.  As I’ve said before, we have six children that went from my womb straight into God’s arms.  So we remember them this month in particular and also on the day we have chosen to celebrate their passing.

TREASURE

Baby loss is a terrible experience to go through, so lighting a candle at the right time and joining in unity with everybody that has makes the memories somehow easier.  We are sharing the burden of that time with many others.
