Christmas 2025

Well, as you all know, we have been through some really tough Christmases in the first half of this decade.  And now we are celebrating once again, the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  One of my carers was shocked to tell me that someone told her they were getting ready for Christmas but knew nothing about the real meaning of Christmas.

One of my greatest joys at Christmas is to hear and join in with not only Carols from Kings College, Cambridge, but to now also celebrate the Carol Service at Westminster Abbey which is organised by the Princess of Wales.  As I have become so housebound, this is the only way I can share with others other than Kevin and Johnathan the blessings of the season.

Christmas, as we know, is not just about giving presents, but about sharing life and love and joy and peace and goodwill to all.  Listening to the music created specially to share the true message of the season is a real joy and blessing to me.  

Originally I set up my blog to share my writing with you all, yes, but also to share love and peace and happiness and help lift you up in whatever I write.  I deeply desire that you can partake of the heavenly gift offered so freely to us all.

Loving, giving and sharing with each other and blessing those around us with comfort, joy and peace is all part of the Christmas message.  Not everybody has others with them.  But if we can make the lot of those who are alone a little lighter and draw them away from the loneliness that can consume them, our lives are well worth it.
