10 Noises

I wanted to talk to you about what I think is something so exciting and inspiring.  I think I told you that Johnathan and I found it hard to reconnect because I had been away in hospital for so long.  One way we DID manage to reconnect was through music.

Johnathan had made some oh yes, experimental music and had done six tracks.  He told me that number 6 was his favourite and asked me if I wanted to watch him make another.  Well, I thought it would be fascinating to watch and see how his creativity functions.

His creative side is completely different to mine.  At the moment, with his artwork, he is inspired by Japanese artists.  And he wanted to go see the Museum of Modern Art (which he thoroughly enjoyed).   Having said that, I think what I mean is that he points of inspiration and expression are different to mine.

So watching him create the next piece of experimental music, I was and wasn’t surprised that it only took him before hd had finished the next track.  He wanted it to go online, so Jamie has put it on Spotify.

Experimental music is not my first choice of music - but I can tell that he’s done well.  All the different things he can do with computers is AMAZING!  He didn’t even have to play any instruments or be able to read music, but it is still well done.

TREASURE

It was wonderful to reconnect with my son over music.  And now he’d like to share with you.  Do you agree with me that his experimental music is good?
