It has been quite a week for me personally, I must admit.  I am pretty sure I have already told you that I was born disabled so you would think that I had learned by 50 years of age to accept it.

As I have said in other posts, I have been in hospital a long time.  And am delighted to be home. But the transitional period back to normal life can be quite frustrating.

How are you all doing?  I’ve been thinking about writing and carrying on with one of the books I have already started.

There are so many differing emotions and thoughts swirling round my mind as I prepare to go home from the hospital.

Today, as you may or may not know, is Mother’s Day in the UK (I know it’s not the same in the US but am not sure if we are unique in celebrating it in this particular day).

I have been watching Bake Squad and playing  Cards Against Humanity Family Edition that Kevin bought a few weeks ago as something we could all play together.

Well, what on earth can I pick out today?  I saw a television show where the husband was meant to go out and get people to come in and he just couldn’t do it. 

As you know, we are coming up to Christmas and I am thoroughly enjoying watching Christmas movies while I continue to get better. 

Many thoughts about how I was treated by different people in the ward this last visit.  And actually the experience was much better than the last one.  

It’s strange because yesterday I was so tired, I felt like I was wrapped up in a heavy blanket and just couldn’t/didn’t want to move.
